Focus Areas

  • AI productivity and AI at work — which AI tools help in everyday work, how to use them well and how to measure the gain
  • AI development — from the first API call to RAG, agents and production systems, and how AI works, tested in our own experiments
  • AI security and privacy — using AI tools without exposing personal or confidential data, and recognizing AI-generated content
  • Physical AI — self-driving cars, robots, brain-computer interfaces and AI data centers, analyzed with public data
  • Language models — a database of large language models with their benchmark results
  • AI tools — free tools that run in the browser, with no sign-up and no upload

How I Work

  • Data first. Analyses use open, citable data — for example from NHTSA, ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, Epoch AI and OpenStreetMap — and our own experiments and simulations. Source, license and retrieval date stand under every data chart and table.
  • Every number is checked. Numbers come from the data or from a register of sourced facts with a review date. When a value is due for review, the site is not updated until it has been checked.
  • Honest about limits. Tools and articles state what they cannot do. Tool assessments are not tests and say so.
  • Transparent corrections. Errors are fixed in the article, and the date shows when content, data or a checked fact last changed.
  • Labeled partner links. Links to vendors exist only as labeled partner links.
